Learn Brush Lettering with Robyn

- Free practice sheets, videos, etc.

Here are all the free resources for small and large brush pens. There are lined practice sheets for the basic strokes and the lowercase alphabet, as well as various themed practice sheets. The sheets have black and grey text and are designed to be traced over (write on the tracing paper) or write directly onto the printouts over the grey text.. there are also spaces to do your own lettering practice.

Enjoy!

Which paper….?? Click here to find out.. Please don’t use printer paper as it’s rough, thirsty and you’ll kill your pens very quickly.

WHICH SHEETS SHOULD I USE WITH THE PENS I HAVE?

If you have SMALL pens (e.g. Tombow Fudenosuke, Pentel Sign Touch, Zebra Funwari, Kelly Creates small pen) then print the sheets for SMALL brush pens.

If you have LARGER brush pens (e.g. Tombow Dual, Koi, Lyra Dual, Ecoline, Faber Castell, Edding) then print the sheets for LARGE brush pens.

Lined Practice Sheets

These are plain lined sheets for either small or large brush pens. They can be used for practicing basic strokes, letters, or to help with layout.

These are lined sheets with the basic strokes at the top for reference. There is one for small brush pens and one for large brush pens.

The Lowercase Alphabet

These are lined sheets with the lowercase letters along the side for reference. There is one for small brush pens and one for large brush pens. The notes and tutorial video are only available as part of the Brush Lettering Basics ONLINE Course.

The Uppercase Alphabet

These are lined sheets with the uppercase letters for practicing. The greyscale letters can be written over with a brush pen - you can write directly onto the printed sheet, or use tracing paper over the top of the sheet and write on that.

Practice Sheets

These sheets are to help you practice your wording for various celebrations throughout the year. Some sheets are for brush lettering and some for hand lettering. The grey scale sheets are for tracing over.
