Calligraphy Lessons

I offer a variety of one off in-person or online traditional and modern calligraphy lessons all aimed at beginners, and all suitable for lefties as well.

In-person lessons are held at Highgrove Guest House in Morningside, Sandton, South Africa.

Zoom lessons are available locally and internationally (see time zones and payment options)

My lessons are very interactive and the idea is that you leave with practical knowledge that you can actually use!! There’s even an option for teenagers participating in the President’s Award (see bottom of this page).

All prices exclude course materials - these may be purchased separately from me and collected or sent by courier, or you may use your own.

IN-PERSON LESSONS (in Morningside, Sandton)

• 1.5 hr lesson | R580.00 pp per session (you may be with other students)

• 1.5 hr private lesson (1 - 2 people) | R650.00 pp per session

ZOOM LESSONS

• 1 hr lesson | R450.00pp per lesson

President’s Award Course

SUITABLE FOR TEENAGERS PARTICIPATING IN THE PRESIDENTS AWARD (Bronze, Silver or Gold level)

There is no fixed course fee for students doing a course for the President’s Award as each course is customised to suit the level and requirements of the individual.

Lessons can be done in the afternoons or holidays, and the quantity/length of lessons can be varied to suit the level requirements
